About us – Samskrita Bharati (founded 1981) is a movement for the continuing protection, development and propagation of the Sanskritam language as well as the literature, tradition and the knowledge systems embedded in it. Samskrita Bharati is a non-profit organization comprised of a large team of very dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers who take the knowledge of Sanskrit to all sections of society irrespective of race, gender, region, religion, caste, age etc.

Dear Aspirants, We are thrilled to announce the inaugural RamayanaOlympiad , a prestigious event dedicated to celebrating the timeless epic of Ramayana at the national level. This Olympiad aims to foster a deep understanding and appreciation of the revered scripture amongst participants across the nation. Even Interested candidates from abroad also can attend for this exam. Results will be announced at Bharat level. Ramayana Olympiad: Fostering Understanding and Appreciation

Section 1:
Understanding the Ramayana

The Epic of Values: The Ramayana is a revered scripture that encapsulates timeless wisdom and teachings, offering profound insights into morality, duty, and righteousness.

Section 3:
Exam Details and Syllabus

***Exam only will be in Sanskrit language***
***[In Devanagari Script]***
*** All exams will be conducted online, providing accessibility to participants across the nation.***

Exam Details

  1. Level-1 exam will be based on Entire Ramayanam
  2. 60 questions will be given in the exam for 6o marks.
  3. Exam duration will be 50min. in both levels.
  4. No negative mark for Level-1.
  5. Material of Level-2 (Level-1+Special Slokas) will be separate and download from website.
  6. There will be negative mark in Level-2.
  7. Questions will be in Samskritam language and based on Valmiki Ramayanam only.
  8. Those candidates only eligible for level-2 whoever secure 80% (48marks) in level-1

  2. Syllabus for Level – 2 will be Aranyakanda & Kishkindakanda
  3. Syllabus for Level-3 will be Sundarakanda, Yuddakanda & Uttarakanda + Special Sloaks
  4. Free support material will be given for all level.
  5. 60 questions will be given in the exam for 6o marks.
  6. Exam duration will be 50min. in all the levels.

  8. There will be a negative mark in level-3

Valmiki Ramayanam : The exam syllabus is based on the Valmiki Ramayanam, providing a comprehensive understanding of the epic. Ref:-Gitapress publishers

Free Study Material: All registered candidates can download themselves free study material after registration process completed to aid in their preparation for the Olympiad.
